Tar emitted from cigar and cigarette smoke is one of the most harmful effects of tobacco smoke. The pre filter is cleanable and will help extend the life of the main filter in your AirPura air purifier. We recommend changing this filter every six months and cleaning at least once a month to achieve maximum filtration efficiencyCleaning InstructionsOur product experts recommend cleaning the pre filter at least once a month for optimum filtration performance. Remove the pre filter to clean. When washing, make sure the pre filter is 100% dry before placing back on the main filter to avoid damage to the filter.
