HOW IT WORKSThe HEPA type filters use HEPA technology to remove 99.9% of particles as small as 0.3 microns, including smoke, dust, pollen, and other allergens. The carbon filter absorbs gases and odors from cigarette smoke, pets, ammonia, and cooking.FILTER CHANGESNeither the HEPA nor the carbon filters are washable. The HEPA filter should be replaced annually, and the carbon filters should be replaced every three months.
