A basic migration would include a templated Shopify store, a small amount of customisations, migration of products and collections, addition of third-party apps, SEO optimisations, performance testing and knowledge transfer.   Section 119 is a New York-based go-to destination for officially licensed Grateful Dead merchandise and iconic band apparel. We've been working with Section 119 since 2019 and, in 2024, carried out a full Shopify 2.0 upgrade, supercharged automations by Klaviyo, and improved the UX of store.

• Cliff Home 2.0 Upgrade

  With the unsettling nature that the pandemic brought, the 5-star Cliff House Hotel trusted us to upgrade their ecommerce offering Cliff Home to Shopify. We delivered a customised bespoke Shopify 2.0 store with an enhanced mobile experience for them. We also focused on super charging their automated email for increasing sales.

  Ireland's favourite school book store needed room to scale. We migrated and upgraded them to Shopify Plus. With theme customisations and warehouse integration, Schoolbooks.ie continue to trail blaze on Shopify Plus.

• Loulerie Fine Jewellery

  We delivered a bespoke store design and custom app development for Dublin based Loulerie Jewellery. We also replaced the legacy POS solution with the integrated Shopify Point of Sale offering, whereby providing training to all staff members of the system.

  I cannot overstate how helpful Milk Bottle Labs have been in the relaunch of our website. Our choice was between going it alone or bringing them onboard to work alongside us as advisors during the process. Even if you know what you want from your website, it saves you so much time and hassle to have an expert on-hand to keep you on the right track. Even as somebody who is fairly tech-savvy and computer literate, there were so many settings that needed adjusting that I would just never have known about without their input. They also have so many sales-boosting tips & tricks and so much experience and knowledge of what works best, that you couldn't possibly replicate it on your own. Sure, you could knock up a someway-decent Shopify store yourself but we were ready to take ours to the next level. We wanted a polished, professional store that created the right impression for our discerning customers and we achieved that quickly, enjoyably and painlessly with Milk Bottle Labs. It genuinely was a fun experience! They also will give you a choice between a select few of the most suitable themes and best apps for each piece of functionality rather than aimlessly spending an age trawling the theme/app stores yourself only to discover the app you've set up is missing a key piece of functionality or doesn't play well with your theme. In summary, these guys are great to work with - you will save yourself headaches and money in the long-run and you will be delighted with the results.   I knew about Milk Bottle Labs from attending the regular meetups they host here in Dublin, so before even starting I already knew the guys were going to be the right fit for me. I had a shopify store already that I had built myself and had outgrown & I needed an upgrade. There was no heavy sales pitch, the process was completely transparent and the team were enthusiastic about sharing their Shopify knowledge & best practices from the get go. I had a very specific look and feel in mind for the website, so the team gave me a theme to play with and break until I was happy with it, that way i could test out the different aesthetics and choose based on what actually looked good.
