• WLLW: Migrating from Headless Wagtail to a Streamlined Shopify Build

  Minion migrated WLLW from a complex headless Wagtail + Shopify stack to a unified Shopify experience. The headless setup created unnecessary technical overhead, slowing content and product management. We redesigned the site, consolidated systems, improved performance, and delivered an easier, faster workflow the team can manage without developers.

• James Cress Florist: Automated Routing and Delivery via Shopify

  Minion built a custom Shopify integration for James Cress Florist to automate order routing between local delivery and national networks like MAS Direct and HANA Florist. The system uses zip-code logic, real-time syncing, and fulfillment automation—saving 500+ labor hours monthly and improving delivery accuracy and scalability.

• ShopSTR: A Host-First Booking Platform Built on the Shopify Ecosystem

  Minion built ShopSTR, a host-first booking platform that operates entirely within the Shopify ecosystem using Draft Orders instead of Products. ShopSTR powers direct bookings, syncs availability with Airbnb, Vrbo, and Booking.com via iCal, integrates with Google Vacation Rentals, automates messaging, and embeds booking tools into any Shopify theme for full design flexibility.

• Galiano Wine: Smart Fulfillment & Custom Subscriptions on Shopify

  Minion built a custom Shopify solution for Galiano Wine integrating with Copper Peak Logistics’ bi-coastal warehouses using smart routing to optimize fulfillment. We developed a flexible wine club and subscription builder, automated cross-store syncing with Le’Rosé, and streamlined backend workflows. The result is a scalable, fully automated DTC wine operation.

  The co. Was to pricey for me they wanted 30k a year for there services. From the start I had to pay 1500 a month for 4 months of trail service, i didnt really get much done in that time. They had no suggestions for me if i didnt know exactly what it was i needed they wouldnt do it, and thats asking alot for someone new to the business. I had a conversation/ argument with the owner or representative about this and was told he didnt care he would just take my money regusrdless because of the contract. So that was my experience with this co. However one of the workers feng nan if thats correct was a nice guy.
