  We start by learning your specific goals and objectives, and we combine tried-and-true methodologies that work for everyone, with techniques recommend specifically for your business. This pricing includes an hour of coaching and training time, and we'll develop an action plan with next steps for your approval. Additional work and price information: Often times, coaching is an ongoing process, especially for those who are new to digital sales. We can provide resources and training in the first hour of time, however we will also put together an action plan for the future that includes ongoing coaching on an as-needed basis. There is never any obligation or minimums beyond the hour of time, but we are confident that you'll find our courteous, knowledgeable, and personable business coaches to be an invaluable asset to your online business.

  We typically begin with a detailed discussion of your business logic needs. Once we have a full understanding of what is needed in an application, we will provide you with a precise specification that will describe the features and functionality of the application. Once approved, we will build a hosted web application on Google's high-availability cloud infrastructure. You may host the application yourself, or we will be happy to host and maintain the application for a monthly fee. Additional work and price information: Often times this type of service is requested when integrating Shopify's API with that of a 3rd-party service, or introducing automations to the Shop. Before recommending custom development, we evaluate whether the functionality you need can be achieved with existing applications or with Shopify itself. A custom application truly expands the capabilities of what is possible with Shopify, and is a great option for shop owners experiencing efficiency pain-points within their business.

  Included in starting price: If you're starting with a new shop, this task is as simple as setting up the new domain in Shopify by working with your DNS hosting provider. We will work with you to determine what domains you'd like to direct to Shopify, and if you're migrating from an existing store, we will map your old URLs to those within Shopify to ensure that your customer experience is seamless. We will set up Google analytics on your shop to help you monitor traffic and redirect any 404 results that may occur. Additional work and price information: The minimum price includes a basic custom domain setup and testing to ensure that the domain connects properly and your SSL certificate is provisioned by Shopify with no issue. If you are migrating from another platform, we will work with you to determine scope by evaluating how many re-directs you will need, and whether you would like ongoing assistance with monitoring tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console, which can help you identify if there are any URLs that need correction.

  Included in starting price: Our custom illustration and branding services can help set you apart from the crowd, and ensure that your business is represented in a unique and professional way. Our first step is understanding your core business values. We work with you to establish the style and "vibe" you want to convey to your customers. Our basic branding package includes a logo with a tailored selection of color palettes and fonts to choose from. Put your best foot forward with a modern logo that's unique to your brand. Additional work and price information: All of our illustration services use a hand-drawn technique with scalable vectors. This offers you a clean, modern look to your brand, while also offering you a 100% unique visual identity. The other advantage to vector illustrations is that we can easily switch out the colors and adjust the sizing without loss of quality. Whether you need a logo in color, a white logo on a color background, a logo sized for business cards or for an 8-foot banner, your logo will come out in crisp, vivid detail.

  Included in starting price: A slow site can impact your sales. We'll help you identify the issue and address it. We'll start by evaluating how your theme and apps load to understand precisely where the slow down is occurring. Many times, we can make small tweaks to address the issue immediately. Other times, significant refactoring may be required. Our extensive understanding of how Shopify's best practices, as well as our deep knowledge of high-performance web techniques means we can find the problem and fix it fast. Additional work and price information: Often times we are able to apply simple changes to improve the performance of your site. This includes the order in which assets are loaded, applying lazy loading to images, or performing minor code refactors. Sometimes more significant changes are needed, like updating the theme, installing different applications, or major code refactors. If this is the case, we will alert you to the specific changes we plan to make and provide specific pricing for your approval before we move forward.

  We will start by helping you determine your precise needs for your shop design. Often times we take one of two approaches — we begin with a mockup phase and implement a fully custom design, or we start with a theme from the Shopify theme store and make customizations. The main goal is to ensure that your brand and messaging is properly reflected throughout the shop, and provide you with the tools and capabilities to create an accessible and engaging shopping experience for your customers. Additional work and price information: Setting up a theme from the theme store is the lower cost option, but in many cases shop owners are seeking a fully unique and custom design. In this case we will start with the production and approval of interactive prototypes using Adobe XD. Once approved, we will either fully customize an existing theme, or we will build our own theme using Slate, Shopify's open-source tool that allows us to build out completely custom designs from the ground up.

  Have an existing store on Etsy, Squarespace, or WooCommerce, or another platform? We'll be happy to get you moving with Shopify, and we're confident you'll love the platform! A basic migration includes moving your catalog, basic pages, basic visual identity, and settings over. We'll make sure you're comfortable managing orders and fulfillments with Shopify, and that you're offering your customers all of the same or improved features and functionality they found on your existing store. Additional work and price information: The pricing for this service reflects relatively simple cases for small-to-medium-sized stores. The following considerations may incur additional costs: * Custom theme implementation * Importing customer/order histories * Importing from a custom eCommerce system * Migrating gift cards and discounts * Migrating custom features and functionality * Significant content entry * Large catalogs * Peripheral features (such as payment plans, subscriptions, and rewards) * Complex fulfillment needs

  What's included

  We will begin by helping you evaluate your needs for any custom features and/or code. The scope of this type of work can vary, but examples include implementing custom fields, setting up automations and integrations through Shopify's API, or building an interactive feature that will allow your customers to learn more about your products. We will work closely with you to ensure that your precise needs are met with any functionality that we implement. Additional work and price information: Before we make a recommendation we will help you to determine if an existing application or theme feature will accommodate your needs. If we determine that custom code is required, many times it can be completed within the theme, however in some cases it may require the use of a hosted WebService (typically built using NodeJS) to interact with Shopify's API.

  Included in starting price: Whether you've found a technical issue or just need to hop on the phone for some training, we're ready to assist with any troubleshooting needs you may have. We'll start by working with you to diagnose the specific issue, and we'll let you know exactly what will be required to apply a fix. If it's something simple, we're happy to address it for the cost of the diagnosis. If it's more complex, no sweat — we'll provide a detailed plan with pricing for your approval before we proceed. Additional work and price information: We are often able to handle small fixes for the cost of the diagnosis, however occasionally the issue will require a larger scope of work. If this is the case, we will let you know in easy-to-understand language what work we recommend performing, so you can have all of the information before you make a decision. If you need help with Shopify or an app, our courteous and knowledeable team is happy to record a screenshare to give you the steps you need to handle the process yourself in the future!

  Table Wine Asheville is the premiere wine retailer in Asheville, North Carolina, offering “artisanal wines at affordable prices.” PRC Applications helped Table Wine make the leap to eCommerce with an online strategy that empowers customers to browse product inventory and place orders online, while maintaining existing workflows that allow customers to pick up orders and pay with a card on file.

• Pelham & Junior

  Justin Pelham and Pat Junior, music producers based out of North Carolina, envisioned an online experience that allowed customers to browse individual tracks and build their own “sample packs.” PRC Applications helped Pelham & Junior upgrade their Shopify store with the Label theme and custom functionality to filter collections based on industry-specific criteria and render audio waveforms.

• Aerial Adventure Tech

  Aerial Adventure Tech has outfitted operators and work-at-height professionals since 2011. PRC Applications works closely with the AAT team to provide ongoing support to several online properties. We supported AAT’s initial migration to Shopify using the Warehouse Theme, and we recently upgraded their Shop to a complete Online Store 2.0 experience.

  Charmed Asheville is a women-centric boutique offering an inspired collection of dress wear and accessories that embody the spirit of the Blue Ridge mountains. PRC Applications helped Charmed Boutique refine their Shopify Theme to ensure a pixel-perfect design and a world class customer experience.

• Asheville Brewing Company

  Asheville Brewing Company is one of our region’s most beloved companies. PRC Applications helped ABC expand into eCommerce with Shopify, allowing customers to purchase merchandise and local craft beer. We implemented a custom theme that echoes the design of their main website and worked closely with their team to ensure compliance with alcohol shipping regulations.

  Feetures strives to “To support runners and other athletes in their pursuit of healthy, active lifestyles.” The team at PRC Applications can attest to the comfort, durability, and performance of their products. We assisted Feetures with their migration to Shopify Plus and the implementation of a custom Filter system to allow customers to browse products by style, size, and color.

  Working with PRC Applications was simply a wonderful experience all around! PRC migrated Ortho Dog’s ecommerce website from Word Press/ WooCommerce to Shopify. But they didn’t just move the site, they also did a custom rebuild of our complicated product sizing and inventory system with much needed improvements to both customer experience and admin. The result is something we had dreamed of implementing, but never knew how to make happen. Our new Shopify site is sleek, streamlined, and incredibly fast! In addition to building exactly the site we wanted and needed, Lauren, Patrick and Holden at PRC were a pleasure to work with every step of the way. On our initial call, Patrick and Holden took the time to understand what we needed and what we wanted to do away with. They followed up as needed and swiftly worked out a fantastic solution (whereas other developers weren’t sure how/if it could be done.) Their estimate / scope of work was laid out very clearly, and the pricing was VERY fair. PRC’s communication also exceeded expectations: I got regular check-ins while the work was being done, detailed follow-up with tweaks to the finished site, and most importantly for me, help understanding the solution they had implemented so I could feel confident making changes, additions and updates as needed. The final migration went off really well. Everything was in place for redirects and indexing of the new site so we haven’t missed a beat on sales. In the first couple weeks, sales are up over last month and conversions have improved over the previous site. In summary, PRC applications was just the best. They have the perfect combination of true expertise, curiosity for solving unique problems, clean design aesthetic, outstanding communication skills, and genuine interest in client satisfaction.
