By connecting your 3rd-party domain to Shopify this points your domain name at your Shopify store. This means that when a prospective customer enters your custom URL into their browser, it takes them to your online store. Note: You still use the third-party domain provider to manage your domain settings, pay for your domain, and renew it. Additional work and price information: The information required is as follows: 1) Third-party domain provider account login details. 2) Collaborator account login access for your Shopify store. Please note: Once we point the domain to your store, your current website won't be available and the domain will be pointed to your Shopify store.
