We had an excellent experience working with Spicy Design (Alex) on our Shopify store migration. After several failed attempts in the past to update our website to a new theme, we were honestly skeptical about trying again. The project was complex — involving outdated apps, scattered data, and disorganized content. But Alex brought clarity, structure, and execution to what had been a chaotic process. From the start, Alex demonstrated a deep understanding of Shopify and was genuinely passionate about the platform’s evolving features. He took the time to explore our needs, proposed thoughtful strategies, and followed through with precision. His recommendations weren’t just theoretical — they were practical, current, and aligned with Shopify best practices. He was also incredibly reliable: punctual for every meeting, responsive when we needed support, and consistently delivered on his promises. In short, Alex was a true partner. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Spicy Design for any future projects. In fact, we’re already planning to continue working with him for the long term.

We contacted Alex a few months ago to help us create a suite of custom apps (after our previous designer went AWOL). He's a dream to work with. This large project held some key functionality to our online business, and Alex made this whole process stress-free. With several intricate requirements, Alex just breezed through them like they were standard requests. He's forward-thinking, customer experience driven & (most importantly) positive about the project. If you're considering asking SpicyDesign to help with your project - do it. It is worth every penny, and we've found a great asset. Thanks, Alex for all your work (so far! More to come)

Alex was incredible to work with. This was my first time hiring someone on the Shopify Experts platform so I was a little nervous at first, but it quickly became clear that Alex knows exactly what he’s doing. He got our international expansion logic done quickly and thoughtfully. I can’t recommend him enough.

I've worked with Alex from SpicyDesign on a couple occasions. He's built Shopify websites for multiple companies that I've worked for, one of which is was a large multi-national retailer with heavy customization. I will definitely work with Alex again in the future, he is absolutely phenomenal at what he does. Thinks outside of the box, and not only brings the designs we provide to life, but enhances them by thinking about the user experience. Never have I felt stuck working with him as he has a solution in mind for almost everything. I'm also very happy that he was able to work quickly and efficiently meet even the tightest of deadlines while working within my own schedule. Definitely worth every penny. Alex it's always a pleasure!

Alex and team are great to work with! He's smart, responsive, and performs high quality work. I'd highly recommend him for any site build or updating you may need. We had a tight deadline of 2 months (right before black friday) to build a brand new site, he worked quick to make that happen for us.

Alex and the SpicyDesign team are excellent. ShopifyPlus knowledge is second to none, great at design and coding and nothing was a problem. It has been an absolute pleasure working with SpicyDesign on the development and implementation of our new website across from BigCommerce. Highly recommend Alex and the SpicyDesign team for any ShopifyPlus store.

Everything we have been hoping for and more. We moved from Magento to Shopify and had an extensive list of features, data migration and additions to master. In less than 2 months they delivered way more than expected. Fast response time on questions, and knowledge that is unheard of, made our website way better than it ever was. And with more recommendation and analysis, we already have improved traffic and sales. After 10 years of experience, SpicyDesign is by far the #1 company we have ever hired. Thank you Alex & Team for the great Service and Support, we will keep on coming back.
